At the core of OE’s approach is the idea that patients, caregivers and partners in care have their own distinct needs within the healthcare environment. We know this because we’ve watched them firsthand. We think about the environment as a whole. What is its purpose? How is it being used? Can we improve on function? Can we make it more conducive to healing?

At Nurture, our strategic partner, researchers synthesize their findings and work with designers to prototype solutions that consider the environment and the user. They access thinkers at the forefront of the field. They work with organizations that are providing solutions to the healthcare space – from technology to textiles. They share findings, knowing that they will be able to apply what we’ve learned to benefit the greater good.
